What people usually ask.
Do I need Zapier?
Yes, for these outside apps. Connect your own Zapier account in Tally, turn on the apps and actions you want, and she can use them. LedgerHQ does not replace a Zapier subscription.
Which apps can Tally use?
The ones you enable through your Zapier connection. Start with Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Tasks, and Google Drive. Slack, Outlook, Notion, Asana, and the rest of your Zapier apps can be added the same way.
Can Tally send email or change my calendar?
Only if you enable those write actions in Zapier. You control what is available to her.
Is this the same as connecting my bank?
No. Banks connect through Plaid into the books. Zapier connects the everyday tools around the books — mail, calendars, tasks, files, and similar apps.
Can my own agents still use LedgerHQ?
Yes. A documented REST API and an MCP server still ship with the product. This page is about Tally using your outside apps, not about outside agents using LedgerHQ.
Does a connection belong to the whole firm?
No. A Zapier connection belongs to the person who added it. Other firm members add their own if they need outside-app tools.
