Bank feed dies
In QuickBooks someone notices, sends an email, waits, follows up. In LedgerHQ, Tally texts a secure reconnect link.

Tally is an AI bookkeeper who works inside your books. She codes, reconciles, chases whatever is missing, and hands you the reports — so you stop living in the bank feed.

Tally does the work

Same books. A very different amount of it done by hand.

Questions
Yes. Your books live in a full ledger — chart of accounts, journal entries, registers, bank reconciliation, and financial statements. The practical difference from QuickBooks Online is that Tally, an AI bookkeeper, does the routine work inside those books instead of leaving it on a screen for you.
Only one step: putting bank and card transactions on a screen. Coding them, sorting out the unclear ones, chasing the missing information, posting accruals and adjusting entries, reconciling to statements, checking the work, and producing the financials are all still done by a person. Tally does those.
No. QuickBooks Online is organized around one company file at a time. If you own several businesses or keep books for several companies, the answer gets rebuilt in a spreadsheet. LedgerHQ keeps every company in one workspace, so a question like "which companies still have uncoded activity over $1,000" is answered in the product.
QuickBooks has an API, but reaching production requires an Intuit developer account and app review, and there is no supported path for your own AI assistant to simply connect and work. LedgerHQ ships a documented REST API under an OpenAPI specification plus an MCP server as part of the product, so agents and internal systems work against the same books you work in, under the same permissions.
Pick a cutoff date, export the Chart of Accounts and Journal report CSVs from QuickBooks at the same moment, upload both to LedgerHQ and check the preview before anything posts, then reconnect the bank accounts through Plaid from the cutoff forward. You pay for each business you add, so it is normal to move one set of books first and run it alongside QuickBooks for a month.
No. Keep QuickBooks for read-only history and for anything you have not moved. The two run alongside each other for as long as you want.
It depends entirely on where the AI works. Tally works inside your books under the same rules a person does: entries balance, closed periods stay closed, she only reaches the company she is working in, she never sees a bank login, and every entry she posts says she posted it. Familiar activity moves on its own; new vendors, ambiguous transfers, and missing paperwork wait for a person. An AI that posts everything is not faster — it is a cleanup project scheduled for later.
Yes, LedgerHQ Pro. Same ledger, same Tally, same price per company; Pro adds the firm workspace — the companies you manage, a client portal and requests for asking owners for statements and answers, staff seats across every managed company, and firm-wide views like the cross-company coding queue. The accounting firms page covers it.
Your agents work here too
A documented REST API and an MCP server ship with the product. Point the agent you already run at your books — same permissions, full audit trail, nothing held back for a partner tier.
Bring Tally one set of books or all of them. Moving is easy, your history comes with you, and she starts working the day you arrive.
